Lego has been a renowned name in the entertainment and toy industry for many years now.

The LEGO 75954 Harry-Potter Hogwarts Great Hall Building kit is the biggest toy in the LEGO Harry Potter series and has proved to be very popular since its launch.

It follows a theme called Wizarding World, which incorporates characters and buildings from Harry Potter books and the Fantastic Beasts movie.

What’s In The Box?

The box contains a total of 878 pieces which are divided up into six numbered packs.

This makes each piece easy to find when it comes to putting it together.

Full and detailed, easy to follow assembly instructions are also included…

Along with two sticker sheets…

The first sticker sheet contains the four house banners…

And the second sticker sheet contains the magical reflections of the Mirror Of Erised…

Included among the 878 pieces are the 10 mini figures, namely, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Professor McGonagall, Susan Bones, Professor-Quirrell with dual-Lord-Voldemort face, Albus Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Nearly-headless Nick…

Of Course The Hogwarts Great Hall Is Still The Main Feature…

The main feature is still the Hogwarts Great-Hall itself which is open at the back allowing access to all the rooms and their magical treasures for a more complete Harry Potter and Hogwarts experience…

Once fully constructed, the Hogwarts Great-Hall measures over 14 inches high, 11 inches wide and 7 inches deep…

And weighs around 2.2 lbs/1 kg making it a light enough toy for your kids to move around on their own in safety.

The toy is a genuine licensed product of Harry Potter merchandise and is also compatible with all other Lego construction sets, including all the other Harry Potter ones of course!

Although there have been a few versions of Hogwarts in the past, Lego have not updated it for a number of years.

Until now.

In this latest version, they have chosen to concentrate not on the entire building, but just the Great Hall itself, the location of many of the most memorable scenes…

They have also updated the magical wands so that the mini figures can hold them in in a number of different positions unlike before when they were restricted to just one.

Putting It All Together…

The instructions are really easy to  understand and follow.

They come in the form of a series of pictorial guides which makes putting the Great Hall together as simple as painting by numbers.

Each section of the project has its own corresponding assembly guide, making this amazing replica of the Great Hall quicker and easier to build.

With that said however, you can expect to spend around 4 hours, from start to finish, putting it all together.

It’s something that kids (and adults too) can really get into, and that will keep them occupied creatively for hours at a time…

…even long after construction is complete.

And remember, this is Lego’s biggest Harry Potter building set to date, comprising 878 pieces which are also not only compatible with older Lego kits…

…but also with other Harry Potter Lego kits which can be added to this one for even greater adventures.

The only limit to the fun that can be had with this kit is your child’s imagination.

Once your child sees the almost limitless possibilities in the combination of the worlds of Lego and Harry Potter they will be able to recreate some of the magical scenes from the movies or books…

However, in the interests of child safety, because this building set contains small parts,  it is only recommended for 9-14 year olds.

Meaning you can leave them alone, with their imaginations of course, to put this amazingly accurate recreation together for themselves.
